A chaise sling is the full-length panel that runs from head to foot on a patio chaise lounge. We make three styles for chaise frames: one-piece, two-piece, and notched. That covers fixed loungers, adjustable recliners, and frames with hinge hardware that sticks into the rail channel. If the chaise frame rails use a vinyl spline to retain the sling and the existing fabric is a single-layer, we can manufacture a replacement based on your measurements.

Which chaise style do you need?

A one-piece chaise sling is one long continuous panel from the top of the back down to the foot of the seat. It fits fixed frames with no hinge break in the fabric. You enter four dimensions: top width, front width, seat length, and back length (or the equivalent rail-channel lengths on your frame).

A two-piece chaise sling is a seat panel plus a back panel for lounges that recline, ratchet, or fold at a hinge. Each panel installs in its own pair of rail channels and locks with spline. Six measurements - three for the seat, three for the back - keep both sections tight when the angle changes.

A notched chaise sling is still a one-piece layout, but with a cutout sewn where a hinge bracket, adjuster, or bolt head interrupts the rail. You add an overall length measurement so the notch lands in the right place and the fabric clears the hardware instead of wrinkling or binding against it.

Quick check: one-piece means a continuous sling on a frame with a fixed incline and a single rail on each side; two-piece means two panels with a space between them at the hinge or recline joint; notched slings are a single sling with a cutout where the hinge or recline joint is located. Construction, fabric, and fit

Every chaise sling we make is single-ply outdoor mesh - one layer of fabric, not a padded cover or double wrap. Side channels are sewn for standard 1/4″ or 5/16″ vinyl spline so the panel seats in the rail groove the same way the original did. Stitching is Gore^® Tenara^® thread, chosen for sun, weather, and outdoor wear. Matching spline in your chosen thickness ships with the sling order.

Fabrics are the same solution-dyed outdoor lines used on our chair slings and ottoman slings: Sunbrella^®, Phifertex^®, and Textilene^®. They hold color in full sun, resist mildew, and are safe poolside. Order the lounge in the same colorway as the chairs if you want the set to read as one piece.
