About Two-Piece Replacement Chaise Lounge Slings
A two-piece replacement chaise lounge sling is a pair of separate sling panels - one for the seat and one for the back - sized for a chaise frame with a hinged or articulating backrest.
The two panels share a common hinge point and each slides into its own rail channels, locked in place with vinyl spline.
Two-piece chaise slings are standard on adjustable chaise lounges from brands like Brown Jordan, Tropitone, Mallin, Winston, Telescope Casual, Woodard, and Hampton Bay.
Not sure which chaise sling you have? If the backrest reclines, ratchets, or folds to different positions, there is a hinge between the seat and back and you need this two-piece style.
If the frame is a single smooth curve with a fixed back, order the one-piece chaise sling instead.
Every two-piece chaise lounge sling we ship is custom-cut and hand-sewn in our USA workroom from your six measurements.
Nothing is stocked; each panel is made to order to fit your specific frame.
How to Measure a Two-Piece Chaise Lounge Sling
Take all six measurements with the old sling still installed on the chaise, if possible.
Measure to the nearest 1/8 inch.
If the old sling is gone or stretched, measure the rail-channel length and rail-to-rail widths directly off the frame.
Seat panel:
- Seat Length: along the seat rail spline groove, from the foot of the chaise up to the hinge.
- Front Width: rail-channel to rail-channel at the front (foot) of the seat.
- Back Width: rail-channel to rail-channel across the seat at the hinge.
Back panel:
- Back Length: along the back rail spline groove, from the hinge up to the top of the back.
- Bottom Width: rail-channel to rail-channel across the bottom of the back, at the hinge.
- Top Width: rail-channel to rail-channel across the top (head) of the back.

Spline Sizes
Every two-piece chaise sling includes vinyl spline to lock both panels into the rail channels.
Pick the spline thickness that matches your existing spline: 1/4" or 5/16".
We send a continuous roll of roughly 10 to 14 feet of spline per chaise that will need to be cut during installation.
We also sell vinyl spline cord separately by the foot, cut to your length.
Sling Fabric Options
Choose from three families of solution-dyed outdoor sling fabric.
All are UV-stable, mildew-resistant, and rated for poolside use:
- Sunbrella Sling: 100% solution-dyed acrylic and vinyl-coated polyester yarns. Premium quality, soft texture, fade resistance, and a five-year fabric warranty.
- Phifertex: vinyl-coated polyester mesh with hundreds of solid and jacquard patterns. Excellent breathability and a great value compared to Sunbrella.
- Textilene: PVC-coated polyester woven sling fabric. Strong, easy to clean, and the standard choice for many original-equipment patio furniture brands.
