Phifer Cane Oyster (OFE) is a soft, warm cream-and-beige basketweave sling fabric from the Phifertex Cane Wicker line. The square Cane Wicker weave blends bone, soft tan, and cream yarns into a dimensional, hand-loomed texture that reads as natural cane or rattan.

Phifertex is the leading vinyl-coated polyester sling fabric, engineered specifically for outdoor sling chairs. The polyester core is wrapped in a UV-stabilized PVC coating that resists fading, mildew, mold, and chlorine. The weave has the dimensional stability to stay drum-tight in a sling frame season after season, and it cleans up with mild soap and water.

The Cane Wicker construction is heavier and more substantial than standard pinhead mesh, with a tighter weave and more visible surface texture. It still breathes and drains so the sling dries quickly after rain.
