Brown Jordan Onyx (1853) is a deep, sophisticated black sling fabric from Brown Jordan's premium replacement-fabric collection. The tone is rich and inky with subtle dimensional texture that keeps the surface from looking flat or plastic.

Brown Jordan has been a fixture in luxury outdoor furniture for more than seventy years, and the fabrics in their replacement line are engineered to match the original-equipment slings on their high-end seating. Onyx is one of their cornerstone neutral colors, the kind of true black that grounds a patio without overpowering the architecture or planting.

The fabric is built for outdoor performance: UV-stabilized yarns, mildew and stain resistance, and a weave that holds its tension under repeated load. The denser construction gives the sling a more upholstered feel than open mesh while still draining and drying after rain.
